WSOP Update: Some Pros Still Standing!

Today is Day 7 at the Main Event and there's still an impressive amount of notable poker pros left in the field of 107 that started at 6,494. Right now the blinds are at 12,000-24,000 with a 3,000 ante and the average stack is 1,694,087.

Most impressively, Peter Eastgate, the reigning world champion is still in the action and had a healthy chip stack going into the day with $927,000 in chips. A back-to-back final table, never the less win, with 6,000+ entrants would be incredibly impressive. Another world champion, Joe Hachem, is also still in the field going into the day with $1 million in chips.

The fan favorite, Phil Ivey , is sitting right around average with $1.7 million in chips. He already has two WSOP bracelets this year and is trying to keep his hot streak going to win his first ever Main Event bracelet. There are some other notable pros still standing such as Joe Sebok, Antonio Esfandiari, and Bertrand Grospellier.

It should be fun to see what the next couple of days bring us. Stay Tuned.
